ACH ARCHITECTURE

My name is Ann Charlott Hästö and I am an architect. As the owner and visionary of ACH architecture and its side brand ACH LAB, I thrive in the borderland between creativity and entrepreneurship, between development and project management.

The greatest contribution of my work is to meld unexpected factors into innovative entities and strategies. I also strive for a detailed and comprehensive understanding of the context.

 

My professional breadth is my excellence. A Master’s degree in Architecture at Aalto University in Helsinki (2001) with a major in architectural theory and history, and a minor in industrial design at Konstfack, University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. A Specialist Qualification in Business Management, Rastor-instituutti (adult educational and competence development, 2014). An approved training to become a certified board member (CBM), Ostrobothnia Chamber of Commerce (2020), Harvard Business School online course ”Disruptive Strategy” (2024).

 

My professional career started at Helin & co in Helsinki, one of Finland's leading architectural offices. Before starting my own company, I worked for the town of Jakobstad/Pietarsaari as an urban planner and as a product developer in the luxury yacht industry at the Nautor's Swan Shipyard. In 2008, I founded ACH architecture ab, my own studio, which works as a multifunctional creative workspace. In 2017, I founded the ACH LAB platform for development and research, which is my passion.

 

My Ostrobothnian cultural heritage and my inherent creativity and curiosity both guide me into the future. So do my exploratory questions.

Always with human focus. Together, with resilience and transformation as guiding stars.

Jag har skapat sig en mångfald genom flera kreativa utbildningar i Finland, Sverige och Danmark, samt som huvudplanerare och projektledare för egna uppdrag. Jag verkar också inom fastighets- och samhällsutveckling samt inom utbildningsorgan. Som entreprenör har jag insett hur mycket av arkitektens egenskaper jag kan applicera i businessvärlden. - den stora nyttan och betydelse av kreativitet inom entreprenörskap och vice versa. Genom att kombinera dessa områden skapar jag hållbarhet och långsiktighet. Helt enkelt 1+1=3.

Jag är visionären som vill utveckla och värna om samhället och miljön, med hjälp av kreativitet och samverkan.
